Qualification Hungarian Grand Prix of 2009

Comments on the Qualification

This was a very surprising qualification. Who would have guessed that Fernando Alonso could get the Renault R29 on pole? Well whith the lightest fuel load it is explained! Those Red Bull RB5’s are fast! I sure think that both Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber are a serious threat to Jenson Button. It’s a pity Brawn GP doesn’t develop the car that quick. I sure not hope that is due to lack of funding.

The last news about Felipe Massa is that he is stable after surgery after the crash yesterday during the qualification. It took me back to Brands Hatch, last week, when the boy Surtees died in a freak accident in Formula 2. But luckily for Felipe Massa, he had a concussion and a cut on his head.

I do look forward to the race this afternoon. I sure hope Jenson Button does a few good things with the Brawn GP, but reality forces me to hope that he stays in points.
