Honda’s 2007 car was officially launched at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya on Thursday morning. With it the team hope to build on the success that brought them victory in last year’s Hungarian Grand Prix and fourth place in constructors’ championship. The RA107, the first car to be built by the Honda team since their new, full-scale wind tunnel became operational, will again be raced by Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello. Supporting them will be test drivers Christian Klien and James Rossiter.

While many people believe this year’s championship will be fought between Ferrari and McLaren, Button has not been counted out of the picture. He secured his and Honda’s maiden victory in Hungary in 2006 and the team seemed to be on an upward trend towards the end of last season. Button believes fighting for the title in 2007 is realistic.
